The concept of this Spec ad revolves around a fitness fanatic who is so deeply absorbed in his routine that stepping out for groceries is completely out of the question. By strapping into the Rokoko motion capture suit, I physically acted out the character's intense workout movements. This allowed me to instantly capture the natural weight, timing, and subtle human nuances that are time-consuming to keyframe from scratch. From there, I focused my time on the craft: retargeting the data to my stylized rig, pushing the poses for comedic effect, and dialing in the secondary dynamics like cloth simulations. The project was super fun & a great learning experience.
